Nathaniel Allotey - Baylor University

     Nathan is native of Houston, TX. Currently he is entering his 4th year at Baylor University and majoring in Electrical and Computer Engineering. Along with excelling in academics, Nathan is apart of many other organizations, such as the Impact Movement, Impact Drama Team, African Students Association, mentoring youth, and NSBE. His hobbies include drawing, reading, and sports such as basketball and football.

Jessica Kane - Vanderbilt University

     Jessica is majoring in electrical engineering at Vanderbilt University. When she is not studying, she enjoys reading novels, listening to music, writing songs, and playing the piano. She also loves spending time with her family (she is the oldest of six siblings) on the beaches of her hometown of Pensacola, Florida.

Javier Lara - Mississippi State University    

     Javier is a senior at Mississippi State University studying Computer Engineering.  He was born in Panama City, Panama and moved to Jackson, Mississippi in 1987.  He is married and has two step children.  His long-term goals are achieving something special as an engineer, and a fruitful marriage.  Javier's hobbies are watching and playing sports, spending time with his family, spending time with friends, and reading.

Daniel Limbrick - Texas A&M University

     Daniel is originally from Houston, TX. He is currently a senior undergraduate at Texas A&M University in the Department of Electrical Engineering. Academically, he has interests in computer architecture, programming languages, and embedded systems. Non-academically, he enjoys dissecting movies/music/books and watching/playing basketball, tennis, and volleyball.

Thao Nguyen - Western Kentucky University

     Thao is originally from Vietnam. She is currently an undergraduate at Western Kentucky University studying Computer Science and Computer Information Systems. In her free time, she enjoys reading, playing computer games, poker, and karaoke.

Emily Sherrill - Tennessee Technological University

    Emily was born in Crossville, TN and has lived there all her life. Currently, she is attending Tennessee Tech University where she is majoring in Computer Science. In her free time, Emily likes to read, play computer games, and pester her two cats and younger sister.

Darren White - Bowie State University

     Darren is a native of Bowie, MD, of the Washington DC metro area.  Currently he is a rising junior at Bowie State University, majoring in Computer Science.  In the past he has participated in major conferences/competitions such as the Black Data Processing Associations IT showcase, and the NAACP's national ACT-SO competition.  In his free time, Darren enjoys working out, making music, and enjoying life.

TRUST Interns

Paul Henderson - Vanderbilt University

     Paul is originally from Somerset, Kentucky.  He is a rising senior at Vanderbilt University and is pursuing a degree in Computer Engineering and Math.  He is interested in most sports and has played many intramurals at Vanderbilt, including ultimate Frisbee, racquetball, dodge ball, and inner-tube water polo.  Paul also enjoys spending time outdoors, especially hiking and rock-climbing.

Blake Sheridan - Vanderbilt University

     Blake was born and raised in Pittsburgh, PA and is a Computer Engineering major at Vanderbilt University in the class of 2007.  In his free time Blake plays the piano, guitar, and banjo.

Brian Turnbull - Vanderbilt University

     Brian is currently a Computer Engineering Senior at Vanderbilt University.  His work at Vanderbilt has focused on the software side of computer engineering and embedded systems in particular.  Outside of coursework, Brian enjoys developing web sites and playing computer games. Brian is originally from Birch Run, MI and has been living in Nashville year-round for almost 2 years.
